Discover the Guitar Scaler method

“I received my GuitarScaler, it’s great, thank you very much, all that’s left to do is work on technique and rhythm.
I’ve been looking for a way to understand how the neck of my guitar is made up without having to take lessons for a long time and now it’s magic! I’m finally going to be able to get out of my somewhat boring tablatures to have a little fun and create by myself…”

Questions & Answers

The GuitarScaler is a system that instantly shows you which notes to play on the guitar neck.
Just place your fingers where you see a dot — and you’re sure to play the right notes, in the right key.

Choosing your key couldn’t be easier: simply slide the scale strip until the letter appears in the little square window.
Want to play in C major? Slide it until you see “C”. Want to switch to A#? Slide it further until “A#” shows up.

Need to switch between major and minor scales? Just flip the strip over to choose your mode. It’s as simple as that.

The GuitarScaler matches the exact visual markers you find on your guitar — at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th frets, and so on.

You simply place it on a table in front of you, or on your knee while you play.

It’s incredibly simple.

When you slide the strip inside the sleeve, the key markers scroll through the small square window.
If you want to play in A minor, just select “Am” in that window. The keys follow the Anglo-Saxon notation:

A = A major
B = B major
C = C major
D = D major
E = E major
F = F major
G = G major

Am = A minor
Bm = B minor
Cm = C minor
Dm = D minor
Em = E minor
Fm = F minor
Gm = G minor

Then, just look through the large window to see which notes belong to the selected scale.
To play correctly, simply play the notes that appear.

Use the fret markers as guides — 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th frets, etc. — they match exactly the ones on your guitar.

To know whether you should play an open string or not, look at the narrow vertical window to the left of the main one.

If a note appears on a string in that narrow window, it means that string can be played open — the open note belongs to the selected scale.

If no note appears, then avoid playing that string open.

Want to switch between major and minor modes? Just flip the strip over inside the sleeve.

The GuitarScaler consists of a main sleeve and a multi-scale strip.
On the multi-scale strip, three different scales are shown using three distinct colours:

  • The pentatonic scale (5 notes per scale) is shown in black.

  • The blues scale (6 notes per scale) is shown by adding blue notes to the black ones.

  • The heptatonic scale (7 notes per scale) is shown by adding red notes to the black ones.

The major and minor modes for each scale are displayed on the front and back sides of the strips.

In addition to the main strip, three extra strips are included — one for each scale type:

  • One dedicated to the pentatonic scale

  • One for the heptatonic scale

  • And one for the blues scale

These three extra strips provide a clearer, more focused view of each scale on its own.

From complete beginners to guitar teachers — including self-taught players and advanced hobbyists — the GuitarScaler is for everyone.

It’s both a powerful learning tool for understanding scales, and a smart visual reference to rely on whenever you’re in doubt.

You don’t need any prior knowledge of guitar, music theory or notation to benefit from it — just pick it up and start playing.

The GuitarScaler is probably the first accessory you should get with your guitar.

If you’re a complete beginner or have little experience, you might need a bit of help at first — and that’s perfectly normal. The guitar is a lady who doesn’t give herself away too easily. 😉

That’s exactly why the GuitarScaler comes with a quick-start guide — like a user manual to get you going.

And more importantly, there’s a theory and practice video course that clearly explains how guitar scales work.
These lessons highlight how the GuitarScaler helps you grasp the links between keys, modes, and root notes.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to move freely from one scale to another across the entire fretboard — and switch between major and minor modes with confidence.

Why not? It happens.
Maybe you’ll suddenly decide the tambourine is more your thing?

You’ve got 30 days to return the GuitarScaler (in perfect condition, of course), and you’ll get a full refund.

You’ll even keep the free ebook and video lessons — so we can stay friends 😉

You get peace of mind, we get a happy customer.
Everybody wins. 😄
